My name is Svitlana. I'm a photo taker, a filmmaker, and a painter, and all that comes from being a kid of a passionate amateur photographer slash welder and an interior designer. I often played with Pantone color swatches instead of toys and developed film under the red light in the bathroom when I was a child. Now that I'm a little over my 30's I still play with the same stuff, only now I'm married to another grown-up kid and we live together in Central New York spoiling our beloved cat, and getting a feel of how to be parents to our brand new baby boy. I'm pregnant with him in the photo to the left but don't know it yet! :)
Back in the day, I got my Master's degree in Journalism only to swap it for a self-taught photographer career which slowly turned its path to white.c.a.n.v.a.s. This creative outlet that was born out of an inbuilt interest to applied arts, a need for some extra cash, and the internal desire to help other creative folks to become better at what they do. I make photo backgrounds and toy around with other arts and crafts to keep things fresh.
I share my journey as a female entrepreneur who figures things out as she goes. You can read more about it on the blog and on my Insta, and if you ever want to ask me something, ask away using this contact form or direct message me on Instagram I'm known to reply there the quickest.
